In order to work together towards 2050 net-zero carbon emissions and localization of sustainable energy supply chains, Truewin Technology with Formosa Smart Energy Tech Corporation signed the MOU on the 25th to provide customers with more diversified, safe and stable green energy technology products. The signing was jointly signed by Dr. Yanfei, Li, Chairman of Truewin Technology, and Huiqi, Liu, President of Formosa Smart Energy Tech Corporation. As the low-carbon transformation of the green product industry heats up, in order to respond to global customers' requirements for sustainable ESG implementation plans, we will expand our new energy layout, deepen industrial relationships, and strengthen each other's determination to promote localization of batteries.

Formosa Smart Energy Tech Corporation invested NT$300 million in August 2023 to invest in Truewin Technology, a major Taiwanese lithium iron battery energy storage system manufacturer, holding approximately 9.07% of the equity. The construction progress of the main factory building of the battery cell factory in  Changhua Coastal Industrial Park has exceeded 50%. It is estimated that the first local battery cell will be produced in July 2024, and the local energy supply chain will be completed. At the same time, Gotion High-tech (Japan) is expected to mass-produce LMFP batteries in 2024. And Gotion High-tech (Japan) has Volkswagen’s investment to support the development of vehicle batteries. Looking forward to the market demand for EV popularization, the company's development is expected. The future cooperation with Truewin Technology and the three-party production and marketing technology cooperation are also exciting.

As the largest supplier of UPS LFP batteries in the semiconductor manufacturing, Truewin Technology has deep roots in semiconductor manufacturing, continues to develop green technology products that help customers reduce carbon emissions, and creates high-quality, high-value, and competitive energy storage products and solutions. In addition to converting old lead-acid batteries into lithium iron batteries, which can effectively reduce carbon emissions, the energy management system BMS monitors battery SOH, which can also extend the battery cycle life. The product design complies with EU environmental protection regulations. For customers, it is an excellent helper for implementing ESG phased tasks. Truewin Technology also actively assists various fields in building energy storage systems and develops energy storage containers that can be used with the power grid. We hope to work with customers to move towards carbon reduction goals and create a green environment that combines electricity safety and low carbon energy era.
